Your technician Todd is the owner of the company and has been servicing fireplaces for over 20+ years. Not an hourly HVAC employee that will be on the phone with the office trying to fix your fireplace.

The short answer is $85.00 installed.

The real answer is you probably don't need a thermopile. I know, I know, YouTube or Google says you need a thermopile. The thing is, if your fireplace isn't more than 15 years old, it may not even have a thermopile, and even if it does, they are a lot more reliable than Google or YouTube would have you believe. More often than not, a proper service will get the output from your thermopile up to where it should be without the need to replace it. Yes, we have the correct thermopile for your fireplace.

We are happy to teach our customers best practices of use and maintenance of the fireplace we can provide consultations on how to upgrade your fireplace for better efficiency or to improve the aesthetics of the fireplace.

Fireplaces are major appliances. Knowing your options can save you a lot of time, money, and frustration.

An average service call takes about an hour, but there are some variables.

Fireplaces that have not been properly maintained may take longer, and fireplaces that require part replacement may take longer.

Sure! It's the price of the service call plus parts.

The reality is the service required to determine what is wrong with your fireplace will very often correct the issue and put it back in operating order. The majority of our service calls don't require parts. Of course, some do. Often, just doing the service and maintenance will restore safe, proper operation. The things we would need to do to determine the problem will often correct the problem, and we simply can't afford to work for free.

Gas fireplaces are MAJOR appliances.

Many of them cost several thousands of dollars. Unlike many appliances, fireplaces are often built into the home, requiring extensive work to remove and replace. If someone tells you that you need to replace your gas fireplace.

Get a second opinion. It will normally cost SUBSTANTIALLY more to replace a fireplace than to repair one.

By the way, we just fix them. We don't sell them.
